Alisa has a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and is registered with PACCP.

Alisa has dedicated her career to providing compassionate support to individuals of all ages. She began her journey in a women’s shelter, offering crucial counseling to children and women affected by domestic violence. This experience gave her deep insights into resilience and strength. Transitioning to private practice, Alisa extended her expertise to adults, children, adolescents, couples, and families. Recently, Alisa spent time facilitating primary grade programs within her school district. During that time, Alisa became acutely aware of the great need to provide children with a safe space to express their struggles and build confidence.

Known for her warm, gentle, and calm presence, Alisa creates a safe environment for clients to explore their journeys. She values the therapeutic relationship, understanding that trust and empathy are essential for clients to feel secure and open. Her person-centered, trauma-informed, and holistic approach emphasizes collaboration between therapist and client to set and achieve goals, fostering growth and self-empowerment.

Drawing from her life experiences, Alisa recognizes the resilience and potential within each individual. She understands the courage it takes to begin a healing journey and is dedicated to providing a supportive and encouraging environment. Her work with children and adolescents uses play therapy—books, games, puppets, and art—to create a comforting space for young clients. Alisa’s extensive experience with various age groups and backgrounds enables her to effectively support individuals, couples, and families, recognizing that healing often begins with one courageous step towards wholeness. She feels privileged to accompany her clients on their path to growth with unwavering compassion and empathy.
