Margaret holds a Master of Arts in Counselling from Providence University College and is registered with PACCP. Post graduation, Margaret’s continuing education has continued to gravitate towards trauma informed care. Understanding how current life situations can ‘hook’ past traumatic events, she is passionate about helping those who struggle with various forms of trauma learn to release it and heal.
Grounded in empathy and respect for those she meets, Margaret strives to understand the impact of someone’s culture and background to create a safe, non-judgemental space. Her client-centered, holistic and integrative approach utilizes techniques from various theories best suited to the needs of her clients in the present moment. Margaret validates and encourages her clients as they journey through their healing process.
